CRA has implemented another level of security when it comes to taxpayer information and
consequently will not give your accountant access to your CRA GST/Business Account. You must provide authorization by listing the accounting office under the profile tab of your CRA My Business Account application.
If you are not already registered, this means that you will have to get registered for My Business Account on the CRA website. Click here to view How To Video
If you have a CRA My Account for your personal taxpayer information you must use that same username and password on the My Business Account login to begin the set up. In this case you will NOT be sent a CRA security code. The process is much quicker.
Once you have completed registration including entering in the security code provided by CRA via mail or email(if necessary) and are able to login to see your business account tax information, all that is left is listing Friesen Viney Stasiuk CPA as an authorized representative on the account.
Select the Profile tab
enter FVS business number of 102977386
choose Level 2 authorization to cover all accounts and no expiry date
Save information and your accountant immediately has access to provide support
